Your negotiating team met with the employer on March 9. We gave Chartwell a revised proposal to finish negotiations soon.
We decided that the new Chartwell agreement at the Griesbach and Heritage Valley worksites should be what we have, too. As a result, our revised proposal is almost identical to the Griesbach/Heritage Valley agreement, and we have told Chartwell that we are not going to back down on our new proposal. In other words—with room for only small changes—this is our final offer.
Next steps
Chartwell made an unacceptable offer the last time we met. Now, they will have one month to respond to us when we next meet on April 13.
Your team hopes the employer sees the wisdom in using the Griesbach and Heritage Valley agreement as the basis of our own new agreement. If they don’t, we will all need to get organized and put more pressure on Chartwell to give us the agreement we deserve.
