Your negotiating team met with the employer on January 29 and 30 for more bargaining meetings. We made progress and signed off on the following:
• Article 15 – Personnel Files
• Article 31 – Disciplinary Procedure
• Article 36 – Resignation
• Article 50 – Telecommuting
-This is a new article allowing staff to request to telecommute. The employer must respond to requests in 10 business days. If a telecommuting agreement is terminated, the employer must provide notice.
• LOU #5 – Funding for Child Care Educator Positions (Renewed)
• Appendix E – Time tracking sheet for flexible scheduling (Minor changes to wording)
Our next bargaining meetings were scheduled for February, but the employer had to cancel. Bargaining will continue in April.
