Your negotiating team met with the employer on September 19 and 20 for continued discussions on our non-monetary proposals.
While we have not yet been able to sign off on many articles, discussions were productive on the following articles:
Article 15 Personnel Files – length of time discipline stays on file
Article 20 Probationary Period
Article 21 Seniority
Article 31 Disciplinary Procedure
Article 32 Grievance procedure
The negotiating team was able to reach agreements on a few housekeeping amendments, and the definition of spouse, which will now be gender neutral.
Our next meetings are scheduled for October 22 and 23.
