Join your negotiating teams at important town hall meetings
As reported last month, your negotiating teams for Continuing Care and Group Homes have yet to receive full monetary proposals from the employer.
The last time we met with the employer to negotiate for Continuing Care, they advised that they would attend our next meeting with a “fulsome package with intent to resolve”. We have confirmed the next bargaining dates will be March 3 and 15, 2023.
The employer also stated they will bring a full response to our proposals for Group Homes, including a monetary offer, to our next dates at the bargaining table which are confirmed for March 6 and 16, 2023.
To prepare for these upcoming dates, your negotiating teams are holding a series of town hall meetings where we can come together to get an update on bargaining, go over the steps required to negotiate an Essential Services Agreement, and answer any questions you may have about these processes. We’re looking forward to having robust discussions about direct actions that members may choose to take on the worksites to support our negotiating teams as they had back into bargaining in the coming months.
