Your negotiating team is pleased to report that there was an excellent response rate to the survey shared to help us prepare for upcoming negotiations with the employer. Knowing your priorities for negotiations is critical in ensuring we reach a collective agreement that serves all members.
We’ve learned a lot about what matters to you and how you would like your working conditions to improve once an agreement is negotiated. Your negotiating team is looking for even more information to ensure we are capturing all your needs. Please complete the follow-up survey by clicking here. The deadline to complete the survey is January 16.
Your negotiating team is diligently preparing for negotiations to begin on January 17, with additional sessions scheduled for January 24, 25, and February 7. Your team is committed to keeping you informed throughout the negotiating process and have scheduled two membership meetings on February 6 at 8:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. (we will share the meeting location as soon as it is available). Meetings will include important updates on negotiations, answers to any questions you may have, and we will discuss how we can use our collective strength to support the negotiating team.
