Mobilizing for Bargaining and Beyond

Dozens of new rounds of collective agreement bargaining are opening in late 2019 and early 2020. To win good contracts, AUPE members need strong Negotiating Teams that will make a plan together with fellow workers to support them.

Local Chairs will approve applicants to attend by March 11.

AUPE Education will send you an email with a welcome letter and with your Time Off Request at least three weeks prior to the conference, by April 8.

We will also email you a short assignment. Finishing the assignment before you arrive will help prepare you to get the most out of the conference.

At the conference, you will take part in a series of engaging activities. You will learn to mobilize your fellow workers in support of bargaining...and beyond.

The conference will help you take action in the workplace to get your co-workers involved. You will learn to have organizing conversations that build relationships. We will identify the union resources you can count on to succeed.

We hope you leave energized and confident in how to get results at the negotiating table.
