Next tentative meeting dates are June 12, 13 and 14
Your negotiating team met with the employer on April 25, 26 and 27 to exchange ingoing proposals. We had a rocky start but made substantial progress in the three days we met and signed several articles and Letters of Understanding (LOU).
Your negotiating team is pleased to inform you that the employer made significant movement in the three days of bargaining from their ingoing proposals. That means Touchmark at Wedgewood has been receptive to our concerns and is open to addressing them.
All the articles and LOU's listed below were signed off as current, except for Article 8: Probationary Period, where we agreed to include language that states the employer will do an evaluation halfway through the probation period.
- Article 5 Management Rights
- Article 10 Performance Appraisals
- Article 11 Appointments, Transfers & Promotions
- Article 14 Salaries
- Article 17 Pyramiding
- Article 20 Transportation
- Article 29 Lay off and Recall
- Article 31 Bulletin Board Space
- Article 32 Occupational Health & Safety
- Article 33 Copies of Collective Agreement
- Article 34 Grievance Procedure
- Article 35 Dress Code
- Article 36 Professional Fees
- LOU 3 Legal Indemnification
- LOU 4 Staff Parking
