AUPE and LAPP are committed to helping members learn about their pensions and plan for retirement. The sessions are presented by Alberta Pension Services Corporation.

You can register for one or more sessions. Have your AUPE member number ready to register. If you don’t have your number, you can call the AUPE Members Resource Centre at 1-800-232-7284.
Retirement Options includes information about how your pension is calculated, early retirement, retirement options, pension projection calculation, and the retirement application process.
Increasing Your Benefit – Buying Back Service provides information about leaves of absence (purchased within the deadline), optional service, and payment options.
Terminations, Death, and Disability provides information on leaving the pension plan, what happens in the event of death before retirement, and what you need to do before you retire.
Members can receive paid time off for the duration of the webinars: 1.50 hours for the webinars on Retirement Options and 1.00 hour for the webinar on Increasing Your Benefit - Buying Back Service; and 0.75 hours for Terminations, Death, and Disability. No other expenses will be covered for the registered session.
The AUPE Pension Committee understands that navigating your pension can be difficult and are here to support you. The Committee aims to give you the information and skills you need to understand your pension and plan a path to your retirement.
