AUPE members and Board of Governors approve deal
AUPE members employed by Lethbridge College have a new collective bargaining agreement with the employer.
The college’s Board of Governors ratified the agreement last night (Tuesday, May 24). This follows the ratification by AUPE members on May 13.
Your negotiating team is now working on preparing copies of the new agreement for use by members.
This agreement comes after a year of negotiations. Talks reached an impasse in February 2022, when both sides agreed to seek help from a mediator. After working with the negotiating teams, the mediator created a report that was presented for ratification.
