Your negotiating team will return to the bargaining table on March 14
The Good Samaritan Society is delaying negotiations from March 6 to March 14 due to “operational executive leadership mandatory meetings.” We also have March 16 booked to meet with the employer.
We hope they’ll be discussing improvements to their mandate during their meetings because we’re not going to stand for stalling tactics.
Your negotiating team expect the cancellations not to continue because reaching a deal, after five years of waiting, is long overdue.
The last time we met with the employer to negotiate in December, they said they would bring a full response to our proposals including a monetary offer, to our next dates at the bargaining table.
We are going to need your continued support to show the Good Samaritan Society how strong we are, and how united we are in these negotiations and to pressure them to bring an offer that reflects the importance of the job you do and recognizes that you have not had a wage increase in many years.
