Your negotiating team met with Covenant Health on Oct. 22 and 23 to continue bargaining. We came to the meeting prepared to discuss the important issues you identified in your survey responses.
We made some good progress at the table. We signed off on several items without making changes: Articles 3, 5, 7, 12, 13, 23, 37, and 41, as well as Letters of Understanding 13, 14, and 15. We signed off on Articles 9 and 40 with some adjustments.
Your team also achieved some updates to the agreement preamble, stressing the importance of a respectful and positive work environment. We would like to make changes to a few more Articles and LOUs before we move on to monetary proposals, including the wage increases we proposed.
Our next bargaining meetings are not yet scheduled.
