Closure of public long-term care beds in Medicine Hat continues alarming trend

MEDICINE HAT – Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Vice-President Susan Slade said the closure of 36 public long-term care beds at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital continues the trend of health care privatization started by the Progressive Conservative government.
