Bargaining continues
On Sept. 9 and 10, your bargaining team met with the employer to continue negotiating our working conditions.
We signed off on Hours of Work and are close to signing three other articles:
Union membership, security and check-off
Management Rights
Layoff/Recall Procedure
We hope to finish discussing all non-monetary items at our next bargaining dates on Oct. 30 and 31. After this we will start negotiating monetary items.
We also spent time at these meetings building a mutual understanding of the current collective agreement with the employer, so you know how to protect your rights and the Good Samaritan Society knows how to respect them.
