Thank you for standing by each other, your bargaining team, and some of our most vulnerable members throughout this process. It has been a long journey, and no one would have been able to do this without the full support of our entire team.
Our agreement not only exceeds the bare minimum Maternity Leave allowed by law and the bare minimum vacation pay for community staff allowed by law, but it also includes a grievance procedure, hours of work, and better wages that will create more equality on our worksite.
We’re pleased to see you achieve working conditions that are much more reflective of your worth. This is a big win for home care workers and for the home health industry.
If you have any questions, please contact your bargaining team and stay tuned for more stories about our journey.
