AUPE members in AHS General Support Services accept new agreement
AUPE members working for AHS in General Support Services have reluctantly voted to accept a new collective agreement.
Your negotiating team counted your votes today, Sept. 12, and can report members voted in favour of the agreement.
We reached this tentative agreement with the employer earlier this summer. Reaching this agreement took years of hard work and difficult negotiations, as well as the help of an informal mediator.
Since then, your negotiating team held telephone town halls and engaged the membership so that everyone could make an informed decision on this agreement.
We will share more information about the lump-sum payments that are part of this new agreement once AHS confirms it will also ratify the agreement.
