We are fighting hard for living wages for all workers, with no one paid lower than $18.90/hour, and cost of living adjustments (COLA), with wages rising at least as high as inflation every year. How do you feel about these wage demands? What are your priorities? Let us know by filling out the survey by February 18.
We have heard from LPNs that the collective agreement is not being followed when it comes to scheduling. We’d need feedback from LPNs on how to address this key issue. You will find related questions on the survey.
Wear red on bargaining dates
Thank you to all members who have been wearing red on bargaining dates. It is a powerful way to show the employer that we are united in fighting for the wages and working conditions we deserve. We will meet again on March 19 and 20. Our committee will be meeting the employer in Edmonton, but you can still wear red at work to show your support.
