CALGARY – AUPE vice-president Bobby-Joe Borodey will be available for comment on the Alberta government’s announcement on health-care staffing today (Thursday, Feb. 16).
Health Minister Jason Copping and Ministers Brian Jean, Kaycee Madu and Rajan Sawhney will make their announcement at 1 p.m. at Bethany Riverview Continuing Care.
Immediately after that, Borodey will be able to comment on behalf of AUPE, which represents 100,000 workers, including more than 62,000 health-care workers. She will be outside the facility for in-person interviews and will also be available by phone.
