AUPE members working in Covenant Health General Support Services ratified their new collective agreement on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
This four-year agreement improves members’ health plans, flex spending account, wages, and other benefits. This agreement also includes two lump sums payments in recognition of your work during the pandemic, with one payment 1.0% of the Basic Rate of Pay for all hours you worked between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021, and another payment of $1,400 prorated to your full-time equivalent.
We are waiting for Covenant Health to share instructions on how former employees can apply for their retroactive wage increases. We will share those details with members as soon as possible.
Your negotiating team wishes to thank everyone who voted on this agreement. Our strength and solidarity shone through, and we will need even more of that when negotiations begin again.
