We meet again with the employer in December
On September 25 and 26, your negotiating team met with the employer to begin bargaining improvements to your collective agreement. In these meetings, we exchanged ingoing proposals, focusing first on working through the non-monetary items. Following that, we will proceed to monetary items such as wages, shift differentials, benefits, and others.
Your negotiating team is now reviewing the employer’s proposals (currently, they have only tabled their non-monetary proposals) and bargaining will resume on December 4 and 6, then again January 8 and 10.
As these meetings progress and developments arise, we will continue to keep members updated. If you have any questions or concerns throughout this process, please get in touch with a member of your negotiating team.
