Your negotiating team met with the employer on May 22 and 23, and June 12 and 13.
We exchanged monetary proposals, but those discussions are on hold as we will focus on non-monetary proposals first.
The employer has shown little interest in fair bargaining and has not moved on our non-monetary proposals. They requested sample contract language, which we provided, so that they could show our position to their bosses. We stated our positions very clearly, but the employer still refused to engage.
Progress has stalled, so we filed for informal mediation. We were assigned a mediator on June 19, and we have asked for dates to be set as soon as possible. We will keep you updated when we have confirmed dates.
