What To Expect
Labour researchers Jason Foster and Lauren Montgomery will lead an open and frank discussion about different UCP actions and laws that harm workers and their families.
They will break down the moving parts of the UCP’s job-destroying machine and discuss how we can organize to fight back and stop Kenney from crushing our jobs and public services.
After Jason and Lauren’s discussion, which will include lessons from Alberta’s labour history, you can pose your own questions and hear their answers live.

The UCP are moving fast. Two weeks ago they asked Government of Alberta workers to take a 4% pay cut. Not long before they tabled this insulting proposal, they announced their plan to snatch 11,000 healthcare jobs and sell them back to the frontline workers in our hospitals, likely at a lower wage and without union protection.
