Canada and the U.S. have agreed to delay new tariffs on imported goods. Regardless of what comes next, AUPE remains focused on supporting our 100,000 members in bargaining.

AUPE’s Committee on Political Action (COPA) is deeply concerned about the looming threat of a trade war and the negative impact it would have on Albertans. We are monitoring the issue closely and will always work to support the interests of the workers AUPE represents.

The road ahead is a challenging one, but AUPE members can count on our strength and solidarity to weather any storm.

No matter which party leads the government, and no matter what they do, the power to fight for a better life is in our hands.
