Congratulations—we have our new collective agreement! Thank you to everyone who came out on April 24 to vote on the mediator’s recommendations. We are excited to share that we approved the recommendations, and the employer did as well.
The changes to our wages, differentials, premiums, sick leave, and more took effect immediately, starting on April 24. We will receive our retroactive pay within 60 calendar days. We will also share the updated document as soon as possible.
We appreciate your patience throughout this drawn-out process. Your commitment and encouragement helped us get the gains we have deserved for a long time. Congratulations again!
