First mediation meetings to take place in March
A mediator has been appointed to work with your negotiating team and the employer, Rosedale Partnerships, on getting a first collective agreement.
Your team will meet the mediator, Mia Norrie, on March 1. The employer was not available to attend on that date. The next meeting with the mediator, which will include both bargaining teams, will be on March 18.
We are trying to secure more dates in the Spring, but the employer appears to have limited availability. Of the four dates offered by the mediator in February and March, the employer was only available to attend once.
As you know, progress up to this point has been slow, with bargaining having started in early 2019. We thank you for your patience and ask that you continue to talk to your negotiating team members.
You have faced a lot of resistance to your decision to have union representation, but we will get there by sticking together. You deserve to be heard. You deserve to have the protections of a binding contract.
