Majority of members vote in favour of new agreement
Your negotiating team is happy to report that members have voted to ratify the new agreement and the Employer has advised us of same. The new collective agreement is now in effect.
The employer has begun the process of issuing the retroactive payment of 2.5% for all hours worked since April 2019 and the lump sum for hours worked in 2021. Payments will be on separate pay cheques within the next two months.
