Bargaining for non-wage related articles is nearly complete
Bargaining for wages is just around the corner—showing our solidarity is more important than ever.
Your negotiating team met with Red Deer Polytechnic on April 9 to continue bargaining. We had productive discussions and look forward to bargaining for wages and benefits at our next meetings.
Our discussions focused on the following articles:
Article 19 – Postings and Appointments
Article 20 – Probationary Period
Article 21 – Seniority
Next meetings: May 6 and 7
We will continue to discuss these articles on May 6 and expect to exchange our wage and benefit proposals on May 7.
Post-secondary employers all over Alberta have proposed terrible wage offers to other workers just like us. We expect a similar disappointing wage offer from RDP.
Your team is prepared to fight for the wages and benefits we deserve - and we need your help to do so.
