Thank you to all members for your responses to the bargaining survey that was sent out in July. We have gained meaningful insights from the results, helping us to understand the membership priorities as we develop bargaining proposals that address the unique needs of the workers of PWL Drayton Valley.
Your negotiating team is currently drafting the proposed collective agreement, which we were set to exchange with the employer on August 8. However, as the employer’s negotiator recently quit, that meeting has been postponed to September 15.
We will continue finalizing our proposals this month and be in touch again after September 15.
