Since the election, AUPE members participated in five telephone town halls with AUPE President Guy Smith. We had some excellent conversations and answered questions from AUPE members in every sector, including government services, public health care, private health care, education, as well as boards, agencies and municipal governments.

We talked about a number of important issues, like keeping Medicare public, protecting our pensions, and investing in front line public services.

AUPE members shared their feedback from worksites across the province and had their say on how they want to address the challenges we’ll face with this new government.

Don’t worry if you missed your telephone town hall; you can request the audio from your Local Chair. You can look up your Local and Chair’s contact information at the AUPE Find Your Local website, at www.aupe.org/my-aupe/

You can also still send your feedback by emailing: info@aupe.org

We will be sure to keep you updated on these issues as we move forward. To receive updates and participate in future telephone town halls, make sure your contact information is up to date by visiting: aupe.org/update-me
