We’re at a crucial stage in the process of bargaining for new collective agreements for more than 82,000 members of AUPE.

Many of you will have questions, including:

  • What’s the latest bargaining news?
  • What is an Essential Services Agreement (ESA) and do we have one?
  • Where do you fit into your union?
  • What can you do to help secure an agreement that gives us fair pay and better working conditions
  • How do I vote on a collective agreement?
  • If there is a strike, how do I get strike pay?

AUPE Vice-President Curtis Jackson will be touring the south of Alberta in the coming weeks to answer all your questions.

There will be snacks, as well as activities for kids.

The tour will start in Medicine Hat on March 29, with subsequent stops in Canmore, Cochrane and Pincher Creek.
