Guy Smith available for comment on government budget (Feb. 28)

EDMONTON—Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) President Guy Smith will be available to comment on the provincial government’s budget following its release at approximately 3:30 p.m. tomorrow (Feb. 28). 

Smith will be available for in-person interviews at the Alberta Legislature Rotunda immediately following the release of the budget. He will be available for telephone interviews after 5:00 p.m. that evening. 

“Budgets are about choices,” says Smith. “This is the new premier’s opportunity to break from the UCP government’s previous three years of cuts and choose to invest in strong public services.”
