LOCAL 047 CHAPTER 062 – ALL STAFF
Take this important survey to have your voice heard in negotiations
Now that workers at Chartwell Wescott have joined the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE), it’s time to start work on bargaining for better working conditions.
You have already chosen some of your colleagues to serve on the negotiating team that will meet the employer to begin negotiations.
To get an agreement that works for you, we need to hear what you think is important. What do you most want to see happen to improve your working conditions.
Are better wages your top priority? Or is job security more important?
Do you want higher shift differentials for working evenings, nights and weekends?
How do you feel about pushing to have the employer contribute to RRSPs?
Is scheduling something that you want your negotiating committee to take up with the employer?
Are you short-staffed and overworked?
Please take this important survey. It closes on Sept. 12.
This is your chance to have your say.
All answers will be kept confidential.
If you have questions or comments, please contact a member of the negotiating team.
