AUPE members working for Brazeau Foundation in Drayton Valley have ratified a new collective agreement. Members voted in favour of their new agreement on September 11, 2023.

Thank you to everyone for your support and for voting on this agreement. Highlights from the new agreement include:
3-year deal, effective June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2026.
- Year one, wage increase of 3%.
- Year two, wage increase of 2%.
- Year three, wage increase of 2%
$50 dollar increase to the health/personal spending account for Full-time employees, from $950 to $1000.
All part-time employees, regardless of Full Time Equivalent (FTE), will receive $1000 for their health or personal spending account ($100 - $400 increase depending on FTE).
Spending account increases will start next year, on January 1, 2024.
A 0.25 cents increase to the evening shift differential, raising it to $2.35 per hour.
A 0.25 cents increase to the night shift differential, raising it to $3.35 per hour.
A 0.25 cents increase to the weekend premium, raising it to $2.85 per hour.
A 25 day increase to sick leave carryover, raising it from 60 to 85 days.
3 bereavement days for an expanded group of relatives, which includes aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
New language that enables you to carry over five vacation days.
New language allowing you to bank statutory holiday hours for the year. Unused time will be paid out as part of the last pay period in December.
