Your negotiating team met with the employer on Dec. 10 to begin bargaining for a new collective agreement. Thanks to your responses to our bargaining survey, we were able to put forward an ingoing proposal that reflects the gains you want to see.  

The employer also put forward their ingoing proposal, however it was incomplete. They did not propose term dates for the upcoming collective agreement, and they also withheld proposed salary increases. Though they did not offer a timeline for when these proposals will be presented, we made it clear we expect that they be presented at our next bargaining dates.  

Wear red on Feb. 25 and 26!

Negotiations continue on Feb. 25 and 26 and we encourage all members to wear red to show the employer we are united in the fight for improved working conditions. Take a photo with your coworkers in red and send it to photos@aupe.org to be featured on AUPE’s social media.
