Your feedback is important – bargaining survey now open!
As you are probably aware, your previous Negotiating Team came to an agreement with the Employer on a Tentative Agreement last year, however you the members – who always have the final say – chose not to ratify that agreement. Your new Negotiating Team is very excited to get back to the bargaining table to represent your concerns and get a new collective agreement that addresses them.
As your negotiating team heads into the next round of bargaining, it is important that we get a sense of your priorities.
As we prepare to commence bargaining, your team will focus on the key concerns that you identify in this survey. This input is vital and will give us the information we need to engage the Employer at the table and negotiate the fair collective agreement that you deserve.
It is often said that negotiating a collective agreement is a marathon, not a sprint. That marathon starts right here: with a bargaining survey designed to let you set the agenda.

So that your negotiating team can get a fresh start on planning our bargaining strategy in the new year, we ask that you submit your responses by Jan. 3, 2022.

Remember that your current collective agreement remains in full force and effect. If you have any concerns that the Employer is not honouring that agreement, please reach out to your Member Services Officer or contact the AUPE Members Resource Centre at 1-800-232-7324.
