BARGAINING BEGINS

Your bargaining committee met with the employer on Oct. 30 to exchange proposals. We were disappointed at the package presented by the employer, which lacked any specific references to collective agreement articles. Instead, the employer expressed a desire to enhance its “flexibility” and “efficiency” through a series of themes, which did not include details relating to existing articles in the collective agreement.
