BARGAINING CONTINUES
Bargaining continued in a positive manner during meetings held on Oct. 24 and 25. As anticipated, the union and the employer have now signed off all non-monetary items. These include a new and comprehensive “Respect in the Workplace” article, along with an enhanced Contracting Out letter of understanding (LOU). Both parties also discussed their monetary proposals, and agreed to tentatively schedule upcoming bargaining meetings for Nov. 22 and 23.
