Bargaining is set to begin at Revera Riverbend, and your AUPE negotiations team needs to hear from you about your priorities.
Negotiating a new collective agreement is a big job, and to reflect the will of our co-workers, we need to know what you are hoping to achieve with this next contract. By completing this survey, you’re arming your negotiations team with the facts they need to secure a fair deal.
The survey will be open until our deadline of Nov. 26. Along with filling it out, it’s important to talk to your co-workers about it as well! Remind them to make their voices heard. Just remember—don’t have union conversations on employer-paid time.
All your answers will be kept private and confidential—nothing will be shared with management. The point of this survey is just so that your negotiations team knows what to prioritize in bargaining.
Do you need higher wages? Better shift premiums? What about scheduling concerns, or overtime hours? Do you face disrespect in the workplace, or disruptive changes in workplace protocols? Your negotiations team needs to know what you want to change at work, so that we can work to make it a reality.
