Life Events
- Wednesday, February 23
- 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Click here to register for one or both of these sessions. You will need your AUPE Member Number to register. If you don’t have your number, please call the AUPE Resource Centre at 1-800-232-7284.
Preparing for your Retirement covers information about your pension profile and its value, retirement preparation, pension options when you retire, and more.
Life Events is a session that focuses on information regarding major events that impact your pension, such as maternity leave, leaves of absence, termination, relationship breakdowns, and death before retirement.
Both sessions are free, and members can claim 1.00 hour of paid time off for the duration of the webinars. No other expenses will be covered for the registered session. Click here to download the Time Off for Union Business form.
Pensions are a complex topic, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed when trying to understand them. That’s why AUPE’s Pensions Committee organizes these sessions—because it gives you the power to understand what’s going on with your pension, and help you plan for your retirement.
If you’re having any issues with registration, don’t hesitate to contact the registrar at registrar@aupe.org. For more information about the Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP) visit www.pspp.ca
