AUPE’s Pension Committee is offering FREE online information sessions for members who belong to the Local Authorities Pension Plan (LAPP).
We have four sessions you can sign up for this spring:
Retirement Options
- Thursday, March 24
- 10:00 am – 11:30 am
- Thursday, April 21
- 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm
Buybacks
- Thursday, March 17
- 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Termination, Death and Disability
- Thursday, May 12
- 1:30 pm – 2:15 pm

Retirement Options will cover how your pension is calculated, early retirement, the retirement application process, and more.
Buybacks will cover leaves of absence, optional services, and payment options.
Termination, Death and Disability will cover death before retirement, disability pensions, leaving the plan, and more.
The sessions are free, and members can claim paid time off for the duration of the webinars: 1.5 hours for Retirement Options, 1 hour for Buybacks, and 45 minutes for Termination, Death and Disability. No other expenses will be covered. Click here to download the Time Off for Union Business form.
