Members vote to accept; organizing for the next round begins now
Following a ratification process that saw your negotiating team members fan out across the province with ballot boxes to 14 worksites over two weeks, we met today at AUPE Headquarters to count your votes.
On the pay period following the date of ratification (i.e. today), members will receive a one-time lump sum payment of one percent of the Basic Rate of Pay for all hours actually worked between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021.
Members who may have left the employment of Covenant Health after that time are still eligible to receive this payment. We will provide details shortly on how they can request payment.
