Your negotiating team is pleased to report that the parties resolved the few non-monetary items that remained outstanding, and the mediator will provide a supporting report. We now have a complete tentative agreement to present to General Support Services members!
On November 2, virtual information meetings will be held to go over the details of the tentative agreement. Two separate meetings have been arranged to accommodate members’ varied shift schedules.
Members can choose to attend the information session from 1:00PM to 2:30PM or from 5:00PM to 6:30PM.
Your negotiating team strongly encourages all members to attend one of the information meetings and to exercise your right to vote! Join either meeting via the link below.
Members will receive a summary of the tentative agreement, and the virtual information sessions will offer an additional overview of its contents. In each meeting, the negotiating team will address all questions members may have.
Voting for Airdrie will take place using the third-party system, Election Buddy. Members will receive the voting link when it goes live at 6:30PM on November 2. The voting link will then remain active for the following 48 hours.
Voting for the Calgary site will be held on November 3, between 7AM and 6PM, in person, onsite in the North Board Room.
