Attention AUPE members employed by the Government of Alberta: AUPE is working hard to get members clarity on the Government of Alberta staff directive from Government to "start to work from home where operationally feasible".

Ray Gilmour, Alberta's executive council deputy minister, emailed GOA members on March 17, stating: "Government employees should be prepared to start to work from home where operationally feasible. Individual departments will establish work schedules that ensure that all critical, frontline services continue to be delivered to Albertans. Managers will reach out to their staff to discuss next steps."

AUPE is aware that information on the next steps and operational feasibility of working remotely has been unclear, especially across ministries.

While AUPE works to get answers from your employer, their directive is to staff is to continue to go to myAPS for all updates and information on working remotely.

If you would like to speak with an AUPE Member Services Officer, please contact the AUPE Member Resource Centre by using this online form (https://www.aupe.org/contact-member-resource-centre) or by calling (1-800-232-7284).

Stay tuned to aupe.org for updates as they become available.
