With Anbang collapse, AUPE urges province to bring Calgary care sites under AHS operation

CALGARY – Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) president Guy Smith wrote Health Minister Sarah Hoffman May 11 encouraging the province, if the opportunity occurs, to purchase Calgary’s Millrise Place and Monterey Place from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC), and to bring the sites under the operation of Alberta Health Services (AHS).
