Welcome to the Summer 2021 Edition of Direct Impact

Much like a demolition, the pandemic tore us down. But in doing so, it also revealed the basic building blocks we will always have to work with. Through ingenuity, interdependence and endurance, working people are poised to engineer a new and better world from the rubble of the old. That’s because we’ve always known pain and possibility can co-exist, and in this issue of DI we’re honouring both.
