Negotiating team recommends a yes vote
A period and location have been finalized for members to cast their votes on the tentative agreement. The details are as follows:
When: January 5, 2023
Time: 6:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.
Where: Walden Heights - Priddis Unit (2nd floor court)
Your bargaining committee would like to confirm that there have been no rollbacks in the new agreement, only enhancements. For an overview of the monetary increases and other enhancements, see our previous update here. For a more detailed review, the draft agreement is attached below with the contract updates tracked in red.
Your bargaining committee is recommending a yes vote to this agreement which offers an array of improvements to compensation and working conditions. Committee members and your AUPE negotiator will be available on site during the voting period to answer any questions you may have prior to voting.
